Panic after recovering from an illness

21 years ago 0 4 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
This is quite an embarrasing problem but, here goes. I have been suffering from hyperventilation and panic attacks for about a year - I received physiotherapy for it and it helped a lot. However, recently I got prostatitis (with a constant urge to go to the toilet) and have had it for about 2 months. I think I am getting better, but now I am having anxiety and panic attacks almost every day about my toiletting behaviour, if it will ever go back to normal. Also, I have become a bit agrophobic because of the fear of whether I need to go to the toilet or not. This is extremely terrifying for me as I always use to be incredibly social, loved to travel and used to go everyway. Has anyone had a similar experience - can anyone help?
